Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We used it for diagramming and whiteboarding as a team. It helped everyone (whether remote or in-person) to visualize relationships and content in an interactive way. We linked Miro boards to Notion documentation and in Google Drive documents to organize and bookmark all of the different boards we were supporting.
  • Collaboration with others (pointers).
  • Quickly adding objects.
  • Easy learning curve.
  • Quickly moving objects.
  • Built in templates.
  • Version control.
  • Price
  • There's already so many other tools out there.
  • Better communication.
  • Less roadblocks.
Did not do any integrations. Used Miro as a stand-alone service.
The online whiteboard was the main selling point and what made it possible for my team to do remote retros and brainstorming.

It really worked best when we started with standard templates and tweaked them to fit our needs over time. We used it as a place to collect ideas and thoughts and it worked well for that. once we were trying to finalize these thoughts other solutions worked better for building out nice reports, presentations, and prototypes. Miro was more work to polish and make these look presentable.
