Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Miro was used to collaboratively identify and address wants and needs within our department. It allowed us to brainstorm ideas, organize those ideas into bins, and finally review and critique. After our last session on Miro, I left feeling refreshed and realigned on our projects and goals with a plan to work through those projects and goals.

Implementation Rating

Miro feels open and limitless allowing for as many ideas as possible to be posted. The backgrounds allow for these many ideas to be sorted and filtered. The space feels open and inviting to share ideas and collaborate. The software simple to navigate is intuitive, and easy to learn and use.

Ease of Integration

Miro was easy to integrate. Many users were able to open the site and start working immediately. This followed by ease of use, allows for everyone to start using Miro with only a couple of questions about specific features.

Collaboration

Having a space where users can access all over the world at the same time is great. It feels more efficient than if all of those same people were in a room with a whiteboard instead. Everyone can work on their own ideas while viewing others' ideas and not getting in anyone's way.

Miro is best used to make collaborative environments where everyone can share their ideas and organize them into bins where they can be filtered, critiqued, and further improved upon. Miro would be less appropriate for creating personal lists of items, tracking daily or weekly, or long-term tasks. Miro's strength lies in its multiuser capability.
