Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use miro for a variety of things but mainly for the following: - To run workshops - To host and run meetings/brainstorm sessions - To whiteboard and organize my own notes and thoughts - To collaborate with team members on projects - To design images

Pros

  • Easy to use and learn
  • I love the zoom feature so it feels like I can never out of space and keep adding things into my page
  • I also love the icon feature makes it easy to add features
  • Templates are also a great place to start
  • Frames make it really helpful to navigate when presenting

Cons

  • When switcing from the mouse to hand feature this gets a bit tricky to move things around
  • I wish adding emojis was easier
  • When I'm running a workshop, somehow users are able to unlock my boards and move things around and that caused a lot of issues
  • Frames/ things on the frames and locking things on it and moving everything around can get a bit hard
  • Sorting feature when you group, I like that you line up 6 items/stickers together and make them uniform by using that circle button with the 4 dots but sometimes it's not always what and how I need it to turn out.
  • Also with too much data on a board, it seems to glitch and slow down. I would love to know Miro's limits sizewise so I make my workshops a certain size (graphic-wise)
  • It has made a great positive impact. It has allowed me to run a virtual workshops and drive up engagement
I'm so glad we use Miro and I learned to use this platform. I use it for many other things outside of work now even. If that's designing simple things like menu cards or something for parties or personal prints or events, that I can't do in a Microsoft suite product. Miro is way easier to learn than adobe or photoshop. You can be a mini designer without going to design school
We integrate it with Teams all the time. I haven't used it with anything else so not sure. But with teams it's great.
Yes greatly!

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I found Miro WAY easier to learn and use as compared to Figma. Also way more inviting as well.
I love miro. It's easy to use, free, and doesn't require extensive training. What it can be used for: Meetings, interactive sessions, brainstorming, personal boards to take notes or sort/store work What not to use it for Formal board meetings (it's not like prezi), not sure if you can export your presentation after, it's not prototyping, can't really get participants to draw in miro! I would love that feature during ideation sessions.
