Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used it to brainstorm and keep concepts and ideas organized so that other team members could view the progress made at each meeting whenever convenient for them. Sharing images and editing in real-time can be difficult with other programs; however, with Miro, it was simple to address problems in designs and new concepts on the spot.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Allowing sharing of images easily.
Flow of conversation through a whiteboard format.
Editing of other peoples ideas instantaneously.

Cons

It’s a bit slow/laggy on lower end computers.
Not being able to see where other people are on the canvas when they are off my screen.
A night mode would be nice.

Ease of Integration

It was a little overwhelming with all the options of functions to choose from; however, after using it for a little while, it was much easier to use and visually nicer than other programs I have used. The signup process was also very easy and accessible, especially for those already on LinkedIn and utilizing it for their occupation.

Collaboration

Being able to edit and comment on images directly as soon as it has entered the canvas was a very useful tool for animation and concept design. I was able to get feedback quickly and directly on the work, and even if I was not able to attend, being able to drop off my work on the canvas and then check later was very convenient.

Likelihood to Recommend

It works very well for design or environments that require many people to be commenting and add opinions at the same time. Especially with visuals, it makes the process much easier being able to import an image and then being able to comment on the image or add footnotes. I enjoyed this feature the most.
