Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We used Miro to efficiently manage problem-solving abilities and teamwork. Our cases encompassed an analysis of individual patient cases, their needs, and their environment in order to find the most appropriate solution to incapacitating disorders while stating all risks and hazards. Miro addressed specifically the problem of allocating different tasks to team members and cooperating efficiently and simultaneously on the diverse subtasks at hand. It allows a clear layout of our strategy, workload sharing, and allocation, and supervision of findings while alleviating the need for micromanagement. Therefore, the process ran smoothly and time and effort were saved Miro enabled the team members to actively participate in the overall project either in person or remotely.
  • Team work/collaboration
  • Layout processes and steps
  • Clear graphics
  • Hard to have a clear overview of big projects (appear small when zoom out)
  • More time management and history of progress would be great
  • Greatly improved productivity
  • Enabled to integrate people working remotely
  • Enabled to keep track of umbrella projects subtasks
  • Overall reduced time and effort
The only downside was that we could not work simultaneously on specific features or text blocks, as once one team member was working on it, the feature became unavailable to others.
It is user-friendly, and anybody can actively take part in projects. Moreover, regardless of the size of the project, Miro is well suited to integrate bigger objectives that cross different projects, aspects, or disciplines. The work we conducted was highly interdisciplinary and there were multiple links between different project sub-tasks. We were always able to relate the various parts together and have people work simultaneously on diverse parts as well. Thus limiting the need to break the team down and increasing time management.
Especially with the coronavirus crises but also with students having part-time jobs, working remotely for family reasons or others, Miro turned out to be really helpful. We were able to meet online and work actively on different tasks whether in person or working from home. This gives a chance to students to be engaged in projects and able to see their progress and impact on a project rather than catching up later on or dropping out of a unit.

Would you buy Miro again?

Easier to manage the features and display. More user-friendly and nice features for steps and processes. More suitable for teamwork since allows direct and simultaneous collaboration. Therefore, keeping track of everybody's progress and reacting to demands or difficulties can be done as if everybody was discussing it live. I would highly recommend it.
For any team work requiring collaboration without micromanagement. It is particularly easy to layout the whole process using flow chart diagrams showing the project and breaking it down into manageable steps for members to take on. Easy visualization and possibility to switch between tasks make Miro suitable for big collaborative projects
