Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Good for collaborating and showing iterations of work in progress. I also use it for competitive audits (visual and strategy) and strategy frameworks. Good for workshops with clients, especially in a virtual world, to show development in real-time and then screenshot for proof points later to be sent out for socialization with clients.

For clients who are less tech-literate-- usually older clients-- I recommend having them do a test run at the beginning of the workshop, showing them how to add sticky notes, change colors, edit things, etc. This will save time later when they are confused about how to edit a Miro board.

In a virtual world, this is replacing any traditional whiteboard thinking process that would occur in person.

Likelihood to Recommend

Miro works great in workshops for showing multiple iterations of frameworks or different ways. Good for adding sticky notes in real time or making highlights for small changes to show progress later. Sometimes clients, particularly older ones, are less familiar with technology, and there is a bit of a learning curve required.
