Mirroring direct interaction
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Agile/SCRUM Retrospective meeting, software feature planning
Pros
- freeform idea gathering
- freeform visual organization of ideas
- minimal effort to move ideas into a shared digital work environment
Cons
- I would like to be able to make a tool sticky - when using post-it notes, I'd like to just click and the note appears in the last color used without having to go back to tool pallet.
- I'd like to be able to (temporarily at least) disable other's ability to watch my mouse movements. I may want to check something during a meeting, but seeing my mouse move on the presenter's screen is distracting.
- Encourage those who set up a miro board for others to lock the basic layout in a layer to reduce inadvertent movement of background components.
- reduced frustration with verbal planning sessions by providing a easy visual planning tool.
- smoother meetings by reducing the verbal conflicts inherit in online meetings by permitting out of band, parallel interaction with the visual space.
Reduced the number of interruptions while people waited in line to get their ideas heard. Instead allows attendees to add their ideas to the board in parallel and facilitates freeform moderation of ideas from many attendees.
