Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for a variety of things, including group workshops (4-50 participants), brainstorming, documenting information architecture, and individual ideation.

Pros

  • Real time collaboration
  • Ease of organization and categorization

Cons

  • Navigation around board when dealing with associated frames.
  • Helped gain alignment between cross functional teams
It definitely helps remote workers and in-person workers operate on the same medium of communication.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

They're mostly the same. Mural has some things Miro doesn't, and Miro has some things Mural doesn't.
Miro is great when you have a complex problem that needs alignment with multiple people who are at different levels of understanding. Miro could be better at onboarding someone who has just been invited to a workshop and has never used a whiteboarding tool. Most new users can figure out how to add a sticky note to a board, but still worry that they might be messing something up or doing something in a less than ideal way on the board, which prevents them from trying to add anything altogether.
