Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I mainly use it for collaborative brainstorming sessions. These could include planning or retrospectives. The features I find most useful are the timer, the voting feature, and the ability to organise sticky notes in a neat fashion pretty quickly.

Pros

  • Voting
  • Timer
  • Templates

Cons

  • Do voting based on colours of sticky notes/object types instead of just an area
  • Integration with a diagram drawing tool (like draw.io)
  • Made it easier to communicate with teammates
  • Easy documentation of meetings
  • Improved productivity in brainstorming sessions
The integrations made with Atlassian products is good, but there are other integrations that would be handy too, such as with draw.io or Google products
It has definitely made it easier to collaborate when there are remote workers. In fact, sometimes we still use Miro even when we are all sitting in the same room, next to a physical whiteboard because it is easier to save our brainstorm for future reference.
