A super tool for modern project management
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I have been using Miro to organise and plan my projects in a visual and user friendly way, taking advantage of the templates and tools available within the programme. As stakeholders can be spread out geographically across the country, the ability for us all to contribute and work on a piece of work at the same time has been really useful. We have also benefitted from the ability to upload and share documents on a single board, improving communication channels across the project - a regular pitfall of project management. When presenting to Project Boards, the ability to link to, copy and paste, and print certain frames from Miro has meant presentation slides have been more engaging to audiences. I have also found that using templates such as Stakeholder Maps within Miro have increased engagement within project teams and increasing the liklihood that regular, possibly mundane, admin tasks are completed which benefits the project as a whole.
Pros
- Online accessibility for stakeholders based remotely
- Engaging and interactive templates for presenting information
- Ability to upload and store documents for easy accessibility
Cons
- Can be tricky to navigate the board when using a laptop trackpad instead of a mouse
- Improved communication
- Improved accessibility to key documents
- Improved engagement on project tasks
The use of Miro has had a positive impact on the way I manage and collaborate on projects, improving the way we can share and present key information, plan and coordinate tasks, and create exciting and engaging presentations.
