Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Miro to map out product and engineering flows and keep track of product discovery processes. It is used as a single source of truth for pieces of architecture or work in progress diagrams when designing new products. It is mainly used within product teams and less used within business functions.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Present diagrams in a clean manner
Highlight important topics or outstanding items

Cons

Often end up with font size 999, and difficult to revert once a board is created with this very large text
Cannot do numbered lists or bullet points within shapes - only in text boxes
Logos on the left hand toolbar are not always intuitive/easy to figure out

We work across multiple offices in multiple countries and use Miro as our digital whiteboard of choice. It helps us with learning sessions, documentation development, brainstorming sessions, and remote offsite sessions. It is often the source of truth for project plans or project status updates.

I find Miro well-suited for mapping out product flows during the product discovery phase. It can be used in a collaborative way to collect input, answer questions, and discuss topics during meetings. It is also nice to use as a digital whiteboard during knowledge sharing sessions.
