Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro to ease remote / hybrid work. We map out goals and targets and utilise it to showcase Jira progress. It is usually part of a workshop to bring visual cues for everyone and also leave a physical note of discussions. It is also a valuable planning tool for team structures and dynamics.

Pros

  • Easy to drag and drop info from one place another
  • Efficient when people are not in one place
  • Timers are good supporters in workshop mode

Cons

  • Boards often tend to get large or you have multiple to look from
  • "Pulling people towards me" is sometimes hard if workshop has multiple groups etc
  • The scaling of the board is sometimes hard and with a tiny screen the bigger wholes might not be easy to notice
  • Enhance collaboration
  • Scattering of information to many locations
  • Keeping things visual
Miro has supported this really well. While using it in the meetings and workshops, everything is saved automatically and no other notes might not be necessary or no one has to start re writing paper notes into a digital format. Miro boards are also easy to come back to since they live in the workspaces.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is good for a situation with unknowns and planning is required. It is low-effort and can be used somewhat anonymously with low barriers.

Sometimes showing Miro for a group is hard. Monitors have different sizes, people don't see as well as others on big screens and the bigger the screen the smaller the text can be.
