Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We need a lot of diagrams that show how data is transferred and edited between our various data pipeline tools. Miro is a seamless way to make shareable flowcharts without the square-peg-round-hole problem of using Google Drawings or Slides or similar. It also makes it easy to post comments on specific sections of the flowchart, which is hard to do using other cloud tools not designed for flow charts.

We had a team offsite with about 20 employees from 3 different countries. By collaborating on Miro in advance, we set ourselves up to have more efficient meetings once we were actually in person.

Miro is good for product roadmap planning, or for illustrative diagrams describing data flows. It has pretty good UI and its easy to be collaborative using the tool. The only downside is that its yet another tool for visualization, so if your team is already using google drive or similar, it's hard to get them to log in to a separate tool. It would be great if you could embed a miro board in other tools so you don't lose engagement when users have to switch to a different login.
