Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Design thinking. I use it to make group workshops mainly, collaboration, make others interact at the same time when we are remotely working. Also used for presentations.
The post it’s are the most used function. When we make brainstorming in the value proposition canvas, feedback grid, empathy map, or others. Also very useful to do journey maps and service blueprints. One of the best updates they made was the voting feature and emoji feature. Also used a lot.

Pros

  • Post it’s and grouping
  • Voting
  • Fast updates
  • Timer

Cons

  • Templates
  • Lock of post its
  • More post it’s colors
  • Tables
  • Improved productivity
  • Reduced project completion time
  • Boosted people’s creativity
I wish it was easier when moving from one team to another, and the financial part was also kind of complicated for us. We had some bit of a struggle. Another insight was that when new people entered the app, they were automatically added to the licensing which gave us some pain.
Since our company is an international one with people across America with language barriers, miro helped a lot out company through the pandemic, allowing all of us to collaborate on projects easily, smoothly and effective, through all the tools the platform offers. It had a little bit of a learning curve at first, but once everyone got used to it, it facilitated our daily work and managing online workshops.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

When working collaboratively, with colleagues working remotely or even in the same office, miro is a great tool to use because it helps you facilitate the activities dynamically and effective with the part of on cloud, fast updates, and documenting the process digitally so that everyone has access to the work they made, easily. It is not so appropriate when working with people not too used to technology because it has its learning curve, I wish they include like an explanation video of how to use it in like 1min.
