All in one tool for collaboration! Don't know how we were able to do things before with it.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use miro for collaboration. Being in a virtual environment, it has helped us create our project management boards and define business requirements. It allows us to have a visual representation for our peers and when we need to present to our business unit. We had white paper boards and post-its to create these projects and then recreate it virtual. Miro saves us time and money.
Pros
- Very intuitive, if you are familiar with office software, you can pick it up within 15 mins.
- Very useful templates
- Updates are live and has the ability to tag members of the team
Cons
- Hard to track changes if there are too many users
- There are only a few post-it colors
- The paste function is a bit cumbersome to get used to
- Should have the ability to do break out sessions
- Collaboration is so much easier, no longer need to try to get everyone in the same room
- Project kaizens are reduced by 50%
- Templates allows the time to start to be greatly reduced
Miro is all about collaborate. We were a regional company and was forced to be remote. With Miro, we were able to obtain talent from people all over the world. We are no longer working on the same time zone. We can have multiple teams work on the same board and track exactly what each member is doing.
