Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro to manage our entire process improvement lifecycle. We house various tools/templates in one miro board that are specific to the project at hand.
Pros
- Ease of creating/editing shapes, text, etc
- Organization/access of boards
- MS Teams integrated app
Cons
- Hard for new or guest users to navigate a board without some type of training
- Easy to move or delete shapes, texts, tools etc
- A quick new user guide pop-up/side panel with tips and keyboard short cuts
- Reduction of the number of files for the various templates/tools. Went from many Visio files stored on a shared drive to one miro board with all the tools/templates saved in Miro's cloud
- Centralized location for project team members to review project tools and statuses other than the project facilitator/consultant
Hasn't impacted our ability to collaborate on new projects as it relates to remote/hybrid workers. Before Miro, we used MS TEAMS to hold meetings where we'd share a screen to work on/complete project templates/tools
