Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro as collaboration tool to bring my cross-functional teams together to think visually. We use it to work through problems together and co-create journey maps, artifacts and requirements for our product.

I also use it as a presentation tool for my stakeholders, showcasing the work of my team and the progress made.

Pros

  • Journey Maps
  • Process Flows
  • Ideation
  • Workshops

Cons

  • Small UI tweaks; being able to flip shapes and have more UI control
  • Browser load time can be slow for large boards
  • Zooming while presenting is very jarring to meeting attendees
  • Shared understanding of product
  • Faster delivery
  • Improved product quality
It has given us a virtual home for the team to anchor to and make their own. It's been great to see the team learn to use the tool and really run with it. Now I learn things from them!
Miro is much easier to use than Figma. It's easier for a non-designer to jump in and contribute to the work.

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is the perfect tool for distributed cross-functional teams. It's intuitive to use, easy to learn and made for people to create together. The templates enable you to get started quickly and give you ideas when you're stuck.

It's perfect for visual thinking with a group. I have found that some members of my team struggle with virtual white-boarding, so I like to give them a preview of the activities in advance of the meeting so they feel more comfortable.
