Overall Satisfaction with Miro

For myself, I use Miro for hackathon brainstorming sessions and organising my teams. It enables collaborative idea generation, organizes concepts visually, and fosters team creativity. Miro addresses the challenges of remote collaboration and facilitates rapid ideation, enhancing efficiency in developing innovative solutions within the constrained time frame of hackathons. I made 5 versions of a custom template.
  • Custom templates.
  • PDF viewing.
  • Timers
  • Word limit in textboxes.
  • Integrations with GitHub.
  • Multi-user in same box.
  • Better timeboxing.
  • Better ideation
  • Less paper used.
Miro's online whiteboard has revolutionized my hackathon collaboration, particularly for remote participants. It has dramatically enhanced our ability to synchronize ideas, streamline brainstorming sessions, and foster real-time collaboration across multiple locations. Miro's intuitive interface has empowered teams to ideate efficiently, resulting in more innovative and cohesive project outcomes. The emojis are great, too!

Miro excels in hackathon brainstorming sessions, facilitating rapid idea generation and collaboration among team members, especially in remote settings. It's well-suited for visualizing concepts, organizing thoughts, and fostering creativity. However, it might be less appropriate for highly structured or detailed tasks where specialized tools are needed, such as coding or data analysis within the hackathon context.
