Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it for architecture diagrams, to draw solutions, and process flows.
Pros
- The User Interface Is Great
- I Love the Icon Library
- The Ability to Export frames
Cons
- Licensing is a pain, hard show whiteboards
- It isn't integrated well into ADO/tooling
- Improved Productivity
- Better Optics than Whiteboard
Its made it easier to whiteboard, once a license was provisioned
Miro's a much better product then Microsoft Whiteboard, but it's not deeply integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem. For example it's hard to have a whiteboard attached to a meeting. You can include a link, and change the title, but Microsoft Whiteboard is available right in teams. Even if it doesn't have nearly the features, the friction is there. Also Miro needs better integrated into a PowerPoint, some sort of embedded. I'd much rather talk through a whiteboard than a slide deck, but my coworkers and stakeholders expect slide decks. I have to have decks and whiteboards work together, and the experience isn't there yet.
