Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro to create boards for brainstorming and planning activities. Since our organization has team members all over the world, Miro makes collaboration easy when running sessions. I prefer the online method for these planning and brainstorming sessions as they are easier to facilitate with all of the great features like stickies, voting, and timers!
Pros
- Miro's interface is very intuitive and easy to use.
- Online collaboration and the ability to send invites to team members are excellent.
- Not having a limit to the board canvas is excellent, so you can add as much content as you like.
Cons
- It would be great to see improvements in AI for sorting and cleaning data to isolate common themes and remove duplicates.
- It would be great for users to be able to submit their templates for others to use.
- Some in-product help would be great for the AI feature for tips on how to use it.
- Miro has improved productivity.
- Miro has had a huge impact on team engagement by bringing everyone together to think, plan, and discuss openly.
- Unlike many tools, Miro, even the free option, has a lot to offer that many tools simply charge too much for.
Most definitely. This is the key reason of my we use Miro. As stated in previous questions, Miro makes collaboration with remote team members very easy, adds a bit of fun and gets everyone engaged.
Jamboard is very basic and doesn't offer the same amount of functionality. FigJam seems to be on par with features but just doesn't feel the same or as easy to use.
