Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro for a lot of things. I have used the shapes to develop process flow diagrams for specific processes. Defining those processes makes it easier to follow them and trains others on how to follow them. I have used Miro to mark up photos, and also in a pinch show before and after production layouts. I've also used the shapes to do root cause analysis diagrams and use post it notes for each of the 6 cause categories to brainstorm ideas. It makes it very easy to get ideas out on boards.
Pros
- Vector Scaling.
- Quick snap actions with shapes, spacing, arrows between shapes.
- The ability to create templates and share them with others.
Cons
- It would be nice to have functional graphs in Miro.
- It has made organizing tasks a bit easier.
- I could use it to make a quick before and after-production layout using shapes without having to learn how to use a draft site or equivalent.
It has helped some. I used to have multiple team members who used Miro collaboratively. But those members have left the company. However, it is still useful for me when I'm doing root cause analysis or just need a good space for brainstorming ideas / potential solutions to engineering problems we see on a daily basis.
