Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We have been using Miro for several years now, and I have almost nothing but positive things to say about it. Miro is highly suitable for planning and organizing work within distributed teams and remote settings. We utilize Miro for various purposes, including planning new projects and conducting retrospectives to review past sprints. Multiple users can collaborate in real-time, and the software performs reliably from a technical standpoint. Additionally, it receives regular and valuable updates. I can confidently recommend it.

Pros

  • Planning
  • Retrospectives
  • Research

Cons

  • Wireframes
  • improved productivity
  • improved communication
  • reduced project completion time
Miro has helped nearly all teams in our organization work more efficiently in a remote setting. It brings team members closer together and improves the flow of information as well as communication.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

In project planning, the story mapping tool for projects and features is particularly useful. It allows us to quickly break down larger concepts and plan preliminary release versions. Our team works almost entirely remotely, but Miro enables us to be ‘present’ together on the same planning board. A proven best practice in our organization is to actively engage everyone participating in a remote meeting by setting aside a moment during the session for everyone to create sticky notes as a basis for discussion. This approach works especially well in sprint retrospectives.
