Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Supply chain optimization: We do virtual workshops to explore initiatives to improve our performance for offers, orders, and deliveries. Communication: We run frequent retrospectives on the operation and the strategy to understand what we need to stop and where we should focus efforts. People development: Workshops and coaching sessions to analyze Pulse and MyVoice surveys, intended to create actions for the participants with clear timelines.

Pros

  • User-friendly environment. Once a person jumps into Miro for the first time, it is very easy to teach the basics in 5 minutes and get them to collaborate.
  • The Kanban + the Cards are my preferred way to organize my tasks and projects.
  • The sticky notes I use in every workshop it is just the best way to register thoughts, ideas
  • Voting and Polling. I love this function as it makes it easier to bring meetings to a conclusion, make decisions, help prioritize, etc.

Cons

  • Im having trouble working with the timeline when I add a card as an object, as im not able to open it again to edit some of the card elements.
  • I had issues with the dot voting in the past as the dots would not adjust shape/size. I'm not sure if this has now been solved.
  • The most important: Please allow to export in PDF or any format, only specific frames or parts of the board.
  • It has positively impacted the organization of my workload and projects. I use the Kanban with Cards, which helps me keep track of all the initiatives and actions I'm currently working on in a very organized way, as well as keep a record of the completed ones.
  • Of course, by implementing the abovementioned, I can see I've become more effective in delivering projects and can say im managing my time better during the week.
  • My visuals and diagrams have reached another level; even if I need to transfer to PDF or PPT, Miro allows me to visualize the processes and diagrams beautifully.
Have only integrated Miro to MS Team so far. I give it a 7 as the integration was easy, but once embedded into a teams tab, the board takes a long to load, which then makes it easier for all to open it in a browser or in the Miro app directly.
During COVID, it was a game changer. It allowed us to discover new ways to collaborate and stay close. It has also allowed us to work in multiple time zones without having to stress about scheduling a meeting where people sitting in Shanghai or Singapore would have to stay late to meet with colleagues in America. With the board's link + talk track to provide explanations, everyone can jump onto the board and add comments, stickies, etc.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is perfect for managers handling teams in different time zones and locations or for people working remotely, as it creates a shared space to co-create. It is also suitable to run workshops where you initially want to share a presentation and immediately after asking the participants to jump into the board to collaborate, ask questions, add comments, etc.
