Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use it daily to get a visual description of the projects the team and I are working on. Sometimes to share with stakeholders, sometimes just to get clarity with my own thoughts. Main focus is to take notes and create flows to describe how applications and services should behave and what would be the benefit of doing so. At the same time, using it for retros and context sharing.
Pros
- Wireframing
- Collaborate with others live
- Creating and maintaining roadmaps
Cons
- Using Miro as localization tool
- Live app experience available
- Loading time on boards
- Decisions on how applications should work are easily accessible and properly stored
- Easy to share and reduce the amount of times something needs to be drawn down
- When the board reloads during group sessions it can be frustrating as it may disrupt the discussion
It helps a lot as the team is distributed in multiple countries and time-zones. Making sure that we could collaborate on the same board during a call and it also gives the flexibility to individually work on it and share back with the group. It allowed us to plan important projects and keep on track.
Miro is easier to use and seem to have more features. Figma seems to be a better choice for Designers, but for collaboration there is no comparison. Lucid chart felt very limited and less fluid experience as a user. Overall would rather use Miro instead of the others, but if the company I work does not support Miro, I'd adapt.
