Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use it mainly for weekly planning meetings. It helps us create and assign tasks for each week so we can stay organized and on top of our deliverables. We also use it to plan out quarterly sales and marketing goals. It's an easy platform for us to use since each team member can access it from anywhere and make updates real time.
Pros
- Ability to share boards with other team members
- Customability of the boards, whether you create your own or use a template
- The sticky note feature and the different colors to choose so we can easily define tasks based on user or time sensitivity
Cons
- The movement/scrolling is touchy and you can move away from your information without meaning too since it's sensitive
- When we add a new sticky note, it's really large. It would be nice to have it be the same size as the others already on our board so we don't have to resize. Or make the original size smaller
- There are a lot of options we don't currently take advantage of because it's a bit overwhelming. We stick to the basics but would be interested in a tutorial video
- Enhanced communication
- Meeting deadlines
- Team collaboration
Our company has remote flexibility, so Miro has allowed us to stay on schedule and continue with our weekly meetings even if someone is not physically in the office. It's also allowed us to edit our boards from anywhere once a task is completed so we can view our weekly progress realtime.
