Bertrand's advice.
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro for various workshops: - agile rituals: retro, daily, IPR, quarter planning, dependencies display, etc... - product management: story map, roadmap, etc... - architecture: architecture, schema, problem-solving, etc... - various other workshops linked to problem-solving... At a business level, it is less used because we still use Slides (Google, PowerPoints) a lot.
Pros
- Big schema construction.
- Various templating.
- Allows collaboration with a lot of simultaneous users.
Cons
- Space/Team management.
- Browser ressources consumption (hundreds of RAM used).
- More templates.
- Improve productivity.
- Major impact on remote working.
- SAFE workshops are easier with Miro.
For many years (starting with the COVID period), Miro has enabled my teams (40 teams) to collaborate easily on a remote daily basis. It is a fundamental enabler that makes remote work efficient. It is not enough and needs to be integrated with many products if possible (the integration with Google Meet is not good enough for me), and a plug-in with Jira can be helpful.
- Canvas and Google Slides
Miro is easier to work with. More functionalities, etc., but more importantly, the collaborative environment is a plus for Miro. I can't work on retrospectives, workshops, etc., or other products from Google, Canvas, Hira, etc. So that is the real plus of Miro.
