Miro takes collaboration and communication up a notch
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
As a communications department that has various process issues to tackle, Miro has really helped us create visualizations of our processes, issues of concern, and solutions to problems. When sharing with stakeholders, it's helped to be able to communicate in a way that is easy to digest and understand. And Miro's platform allows much more flexibility and agility than a PowerPoint deck might.
Pros
- Provide a variety of visual elements we can leverage
- Templates really help us conceptualize how we might communicate
- The ability to create frames then export to PDF is a great tool!
Cons
- The nimbleness of grabbing and moving elements could be improved
- Ability to export directly into a PowerPoint slide would be great.
- Be able to upload stock images into the boards
- Communication has improved
- Can sell an idea faster and easier
- Collaboration is enhanced
Yes, it has been very helpful for our company that has both hybrid and fully remote employees. Giving everyone the chance to collaborate in a space that's accessible to all has broken down barriers.
It was not in the list, but we have also used Microsoft Whiteboard. It is similar, but not nearly as robust or as easy to use. It lacks some capabilities like frames and export options, as well as the presentation view.
