Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is widely used across teams and squads in our organization; its simplicity makes it accessible even to those who aren’t particularly tech-savvy or do not use the tool daily. We use Miro for various purposes: running workshops, supporting focus groups during research, and presenting findings to the broader organisation afterward. It’s intuitive and flexible and has become a key part of working together and communicating insights.
Pros
- Easy access.
- Low entry point.
- Flexibility
Cons
- Tables.
- Responsiveness - it tends to freeze when too many people use it.
- Easier folders structure - it is hard to find projects across teams.
- Positive: reduced time spent on project planning.
- Positive: helped break down silos across squads.
- Negative: higher than expected costs.
Miro has improved our collaboration ability on new projects, particularly in a hybrid or remote setup. BUT: With many contributors and no real structure, boards can sometimes get messy or overwhelming. As projects grow and boards get more complex, the tool can slow down, especially during live sessions, impacting the collaboration flow.
We’ve used FigJam alongside Miro and found it to be visually more polished and intuitive, especially for presenting insights or designs in a cleaner, more minimal format—just nicer. However, the issue with FigJam is that it’s more limited when it comes to collaboration. Many people do not have access and find it harder to use than Miro.
