Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We use Miro boards to share ideas, discuss design processes, draw on images, plans, etc. We also started using video calls from the board, which is very useful for us. We are an architecture studio, and everything mentioned above is highly valued. The ability to work together on the same board at the same time makes teamwork much easier. In my particular case, I enjoy being able to draw on the plans we're working on from my iPad.
Pros
- Teamwork: Everyone on the same board, sharing images and drawing together in real time.
- It's very useful as a storyline of the design process for every project, and you can easily check the early stages because everything is on the same board.
- Videocalls. Very usefull not to have to use another app for the calls while everyone is on Miro
Cons
- When using the app on my iPad, it's not very easy for me to move around the board.
- "Our boards can grow too quickly, and we have to archive parts of them into other boards in order to keep working. It would be great to have a way to create sub-boards linked to a main board.
- It would be helpful to be able to change the opacity of the images we upload, to make them more transparent.
- Improved feedback within teams.
- Makes it faster to share information. All the information in one board, you don't have to be looking on folders in your computer.
- For the principals is an easy and fast way to check the work done
We are a team with staff in three different countries, and Miro is a great tool for sharing information, ideas, giving feedback, and drawing on plans. Multiple people can collaborate at the same time, each from their own home and country. It’s even useful on the iPad when using a computer isn’t possible.
