Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I used Miro mostly for individual usage to help illustrate data flows. We are often connecting data and systems between my company and other companies and finding the common links. While we can talk through these uses cases, it's usually best to have a visual that illustrates these points and ensure we're on the same page with our clients/internal stakeholders.
Pros
- Creates visual connections in an organized manner
- Adaptable to different projects
- Easy to use & intuitive interface
Cons
- Don't love the flow for presentations - it's very clunky
- I don't understand the functionality of frames all the time
- I like the "unlimited" work space but it really messes with the zoom/text size etc.
- I tried the AI and I was "charged" credits when the AI didn't perform as intended. Like if I don't use what it produces, I shouldn't be penalized
- Visualization lead to my client understanding our possible integrations
- Won work by building out the dataflows
- Easy to share visualizations with internal stakeholders so we're not starting from scratch each time in trying to explain to them.
I personally haven't used any of the white boarding. In my experience I'm typically just sharing my screen and making the adjustments as we go. People seem to be apprehensive to move something/make an adjustment as I'm very particular about the way things look/are spaced. The client really loved seeing everything and thinking of things using the screen share, however.
