Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is great for everything from brainstorming to retrospectives to process flows. We use it for the early stages of our projects when we don't yet know what we need to capture because it is so easy to move work around the screen. We have found it to be most useful because it is so easy to copy a very large section of data and paste it on another part of the screen - you can then change one version and easily scroll back over to the other version to see the differences. The fact that you can make people view-only and that people can watch whose mouse is moving around the page is super useful too - it makes it much easier to track the conversation when working on multiple screens and to direct people around the page.
Pros
- Templates are easy to use and adjust
- The map on the screen makes it easy to navigate
- The navigation list of boards you have used recently is helpful
- Locking sections of a page is great to make sure things aren't accidentally changed
Cons
- The flow chart functionality is rudimentary for process flows
- If you want to vote on things, you have to get creative with how you vote.
- Scrolling sideways and up/down is a headache if you want to move quickly.
- positive team interactions
- keep us on the same page
The ease of creating sticky notes and adding commentary to the screen is one of the most impactful parts, especially with the multitude of colors available for the sticky notes. It makes it easier to have multiple people adding notes at the same time without confusing who is who, and with making notes bigger or smaller to call attention to things.
My company chose Miro but I have found it to work well
