Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro for a variety of tasks, including brainstorming, user story gathering, and draft process mapping. The biggest problem Miro addresses, for me, is the guest collaboration which allows me to work with stakeholders without them requiring a login. One MAJOR issue Miro have solved is keeping swim lane names on screen when scrolling across a process map. This functionality alone is worth it's weight in Gold :)

Pros

  • Guest collaboration without login
  • Account switching is pretty seamless
  • Extensive template repository

Cons

  • Nothing I can think of, really
  • It's improved collaboration with stakeholders saving valuable time
It's very easy to use, and everything I've needed to use it for I've managed to do without any hassle.
Mainly process mapping and user story gathering using the collaboration functionality.
Only in that I can now collaborate in real-time with stakeholders on the same board, and they can input into the board directly, themselves. Previously, it would have been me sharing my screen, them talking (one at a time) and me adding/editing, which isn't ideal, and pretty boring for the ones who waiting for their time to talk :)

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

If you want guest collaboration without the need for guests to login, Miro is the one. You can set passwords when sharing to non-Miro users, so it maintains security. It's great for drafting various areas of projects, such as user stories and process maps, but I wouldn't necessarily use it to create formal documents, however, it all depends on the audience, and some of my clients are OK with the Miro format. All in all, it's a great tool and I'm sure I'm only using 20% of the functionality, but it works for me :)
