Great tool for collaboration on experience design and research projects
Overall Satisfaction with Miro
I use Miro mostly to collaborate with clients and colleagues on their research and experience design projects in remote and hybrid contexts. I own tons of customized templates that I put together through years of consultancy and coaching practice.
Pros
- collaboration on design research
- team allignment
- brainstorming
- visual communication in innovation projects
Cons
- design adjustments for non designers (once I have a custom board and I have to do small changes, sometimes it becomes tricky)
- consistency (when you have different people working on the same board, for eg. during a workshop, and you want a "clean" board, it requires someone to spend 1-2h putting everything in order)
- icons and visuals other that frames/arrows/notes (I would like Miro to have more icons, illustrations or visual elements)
- higher efficiency
- better visual communication
- better team alignment
Collaboration itself, sharing boards, setting an alarm.
