Overall Satisfaction with Miro
Miro is a great help in visual collaboration; it helps our team in brainstorming, project planning, and workshop facilitation. It is a cloud-based system, so we don't have to install any desktop app; we can access it through a browser. Miro is exceptionally well-suited for remote and hybrid teams, and it also allows external members to join visual boards without needing a full account.
Pros
- The infinite canvas is easy to navigate for all.
- It has extensive templates for common workflows.
- Easily integrate with other useful platforms.
Cons
- Access control can be easier.
- Price is somewhat high for small teams.
- some features have a learning curve.
- It has increased our meeting efficiency.
- Onboarding time is minimal with its drag and drop interface.
- It makes team alignment faster and efficient.
I like to use its whiteboarding capabilities, but I still use other tools for video conferencing and document storage. Miro offers built-in video and chat features, but our team prefers our existing meeting solutions. Its most impactful feature is the infinite canvas, and we use it every day. It also has basic task assignment, deadline setting, and a progress tracker, which helps to keep accountability visible to everyone on the board.
Yes, it has impacted how we use several other tools. Some impacts have been a reduction in tool dependency, such as Microsoft whiteboarding and project updates via email. Some tools have created new integration opportunities, like Jira and Slack.
