Use Cases and Deployment Scope

monday.com is used by the Environment, Health, & Safety Department to manage various projects and deliverables. Some of these projects are complex with multiple variables. Previously, our department relied on email, written notes, and whiteboards to track tasks. monday.com has increased efficiencies allowing us to take on twice as many projects. Furthermore, when unexpected tasks arise, we can use the tool to forecast larger-scale impacts to downstream deliverables and objectives.

monday.com is very well suited to assisting large teams in managing complex, multivariate projects. In a matrix organization, it allows multiple teams to collaborate on key objectives in real-time, increasing project efficiencies and reducing the need for time-consuming conference calls and webinars. It further helps solidify project-related objectives and tasks by binding them to specific owners. Where multiple projects (boards) are linked to one another, monday.com is somewhat challenged in linking boards effectively. Though this can be managed with workarounds and dashboards, the core solution would benefit from improved board interconnectivity.
