monday CRM is worth the simplicity!

Overall Satisfaction with monday CRM

We utilize monday CRM in order to track our proposed, current, and closed projects. We use this to schedule and manage timeline as well as track the financial spending for the project. We normally input this at the field level and report to upper management on a weekly basis. We also utilize the checklists and the files to show pertinent information to the project as they progress.

Pros

  • Providing location for pertinent files

Cons

  • creating meaningful links to other boards that can be toggled for visibility
  • ability to pin checklists to the top of the comment sections to update
  • Allowing a collaborative "team view" for when someone is presenting their screen for ease of following
  • Positive: transparency across different business functions
  • Positive: ability to view real-time updates
  • Negative: inability to track changes to the project dates/timelines
monday CRM is easy to use. Though I have not used the mobile function as often as I should, it is nice to be able to be in the field and make quick adjustments on the fly. It would be helpful if there was a camera function on the app in order to get Proof of Performance (POP) photos to place into the files without having to take up any phone storage.
I do not have much experience with Asana, but I do appreciate the ease of integration with the Google Suite from Monday, I know this was a large selling point for our company, which is a G-Suite company. The ability to pull files from the Drive makes the application very useful.

I believe that monday CRM is best suited when filling out a project with quick information. The templates are a bit cumbersome at the onset, but they are extremely helpful when duplicated more of the same types of projects. Keeping the "owners" of the individual tasks is helpful to maintain consistency across the board. If there was a way in which the assigned owner could be a group allowing for more people to tackle the line item, that would be beneficial.
