Overall Satisfaction with Moz

We use Moz to keep track of everything related to our website, our clients websites, and to keep track of where our brand mentions are across the web. Our leadership team is the department that uses Moz. I personally use Moz to help me manage my keyword rankings, links, and overall website structure for our website and our client's website.
  • They give you great detail on your website and tell you where there are problems.
  • They help you track your brand mentions across the internet.
  • Help you get social insights
  • They really do a great job with customer service
  • You can't talk on the phone with someone there
  • I wish the reports would run more frequently than once per week
  • Sometimes the crawl reports that say 24 hours take much longer than 1 day.
  • From an ROI standpoint, its hard to measure, but our rankings that have increased for us and clients have gone through the roof because of Moz (obviously higher rankings mean more sales).
  • We have been able to more accurately direct our strategies from a link bait standpoint, which has boosted our referral business.
  • Being able to figure out where we are lacking from an online perspective, has helped us with lots of our messaging across the board.
I think that Moz and HubSpot are very similar in many ways, while at the same time there are many clear differences. The best thing about HubSpot is how much it helps you with general messaging as well as your overall marketing strategy. I don't think that HubSpot does as good of a job with the web. Moz really specializes in all things web and gives you better reporting than anything else out there.
I give it a 10, because I already renew it every month. I use Moz multiple times a week and without it don't think our company would be near as effective. Also, there are no other great tools for managing your social and general web presence like Moz has with their site and their partnerships.
It is well suited in any marketing agency, especially for an agency that deals with lots of different clients. It makes keeping track of clients a breeze. I don't think it's as appropriate for companies that simply are looking for tips and tricks on 'how to market' themselves, because other companies like HubSpot also do a great job of this.
