Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint
We use SharePoint across different departments within the University. In particular the IT Service Desk use it as a useful resource for information and business planning.
- Able to use tabs to present information from different subjects
- A good calendar facility to publish planned and business events
- A relatively good search facility
- Quite hard to get the hang of developing the system unless you go on a SharePoint course
- Better tools for designing sites can be made available
- Flexibility of using themes can be made available
- Has helped out in providing us with a platform to share documents which can be updated periodically.
- We are able to search on document keywords very easily.
- We are also able to plan our events using the built in calendar functionality.

SharePoint is the first product that we have used for the purpose intended.
