Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite
We got NetSuite to help us track our inventory, be a repository for the bill of materials information, and help with ordering parts. It is used across the entire studio to track inventory, orders, shipping processes, and reporting. We use Shopify as our eCommerce platform and we got NetSuite to be able to connect to our online store via an integrator app, FarApp.
- The sales people are really engaging and will tell you anything to get you to buy it.
- Their implementation is really lacking. They don't listen to your needs and help you customize the system to do what you need it to do. They don't know anything about integrating with other systems like Shopify.
- Nothing is user-friendly, despite their claims. Even simple changes require vast coding knowledge. It's not a good choice for small or medium-sized businesses with users who aren't also developers.
- Their cost is high and the contract is long and you can't add/remove licenses easily.
- Their support after your support period is over is basically nothing unless your whole system crashes, so good luck fixing anything.
- The shipping system doesn't meet even basic shipping needs.
- Most actions take way more steps than necessary, and streamlining any of the redundancies requires custom coding.
- It costs way too much for what it delivered, so a negative ROI overall.
- It is a repository for inventory numbers, so it made it easier to see our inventory numbers.
