Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite

Our organization is currently using NetSuite only in the Finance area. We use it primarily for booking journal entries and reviewing financial statements.
  • The entries are editable
  • The financial info is easy to read
  • Importing a CSV file is simple
  • Cannot "reverse" a journal entry
  • Printing format isn't the best
  • Search feature is arduous
  • It is able to work well with our payroll mgmt ADP Workforce Now.
  • It is able to reflect accurate figures.
  • They charge per license (I believe), which is a hit to operating expenses.
I used Shelby Financials in my previous job. They perform similarly as far as booking journal entries. Shelby is geared for church/ministry use.
NetSuite is great for booking a basic journal entry and reviewing the various GL accounts. Since we don't use all the features, I'm unsure of when it would be less appropriate.
