Overall Satisfaction with Okta
Okta is used as a safe and fast login tool, it enables 2 steps verification in many different options. The best thing about it is that it uses the same login for everything, so it integrates windows login, gmail, Confluence, Bitbucket making it easier to login in all the accounts and applications we need. at the same time it is also safe using 2 steps login with connection to safe devices.
Pros
- 2 steps verification, it uses trusted devices to enable 2 steps login
- apps login integration, with Okta we can have a single way to login, don't need to remember lots of different passwords
- it looks to be always evolving, sometime ago we received an update to login with fingerprint
Cons
- we could have a login session enabled so we can just login once, now for every different app we need to pass through the login interface again
- Okta really facilitates the IT tasks, many times users forget their password. if one has many passwords to remember it would be a lot of different times to ask the IT to help with it, when you have a single one then things get way more simple
- with the new fingerprint login it really sped up the deploy
it helps a lot since we just need to login on Okta and it log us in to all different apps.
there wasn't a time when I used it that Okta was down, so it seems to be a very reliable tool, so much that you don't even notice, in terms of reliability that is one of the best compliments.
