Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We use On24 as the platform to host ongoing webcasts both internally for monthly training sessions to Sales and SEs and externally for product updates, product, and feature launches, etc. to partners and customers.
  • Internal communications
  • Lead generation
  • Training
  • The automatic recording and publishing feature is very easy/hands-free capability.
  • Supporting participants coming over mobile devices is very good.
  • We use the sim2live feature a lot, the ability to pre-record and edit/optimize the main session and move to a live Q&A session is very useful.
  • Missing the ability to control what's going on in a sim2live mode or even just a sim mode (there's no option to stop playing the recording even if something goes wrong).
  • The ability to play a video file has room for improvement.
  • The feature of editing an archived/recorded file is very limited.
N/A: I am not familiar with the details of integration to our marketing automation system (Eloqua).
I didn't face many issues of availability, sometimes on Sunday the upload of a large video file or ppt file may take longer than desired. Reliability and availability are very important in a webinar platform.
  • Training of employees and partners have become much easier and less time consuming to manage (scheduling, recordings/repository, etc.).
  • Customer Webinars are much easier to schedule and the sim2live feature have allowed raising the level of delivery while still being able to take questions.
Reliability and mobile access are better with ON24. Recording and repository management is much better with ON24. Ability to play different file formats (video mainly) and support for broader slide animation and the transition was better with WebEx.
Smartsheet, Oracle Engagement Cloud (formerly Oracle Sales Cloud), Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
For training using slides only—either recorded or live—it is well suited. For training or demos where screen share is needed or a video is played, it is less appropriate.
