Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We're using ON24 as a webinar tool within our different marketing teams stationed across EMEA. Since frequent live webinars belong to our monthly business, it's important for us to use a reliable and easy-to-use webinar tool. Since we can add different users working on a global account with adjustable time zones, ON24 simply made sense for us. Right now, we're experimenting with the semi-live function for showing recorded videos and putting some extra live time at the end. Also, the screen sharing option is perfect for demonstrating our products within SAAS industry.

We have connected ON24 to our marketing automation tool Marketo and it works quite well for webinars. When setting up a new event on Marketo the ON24 integration allows you to simply add ON24 as an event partner. After the webinar, Marketo needs about half the day to automatically mark all registrants as attendees or no-shows which is a very useful automated process.
I personally have never had an issue with the reliability of ON24. I know from colleagues that some of them have had problems logging into the webcast with their integrated laptop microphone. But that has never been the case for me. Also, logging in via telephone results in a very high quality anyways.
  • On24 enables us to have "webinars" as one of our higher lead generation channels.
  • We're now able to do group demonstrations of our software with more than one person at the same time.
  • Our customer trainings can now be "semi-live" which saves us a lot of time.
Some colleagues of mine also use GoToWebinar if they have recurring webinars going on. since ON24 doesn't allow you to use the same webinar program twice you'd have to set up recurring events manually. Therefore, we have these two solutions and use ON24 for our normal webinars since the widgets are nicer, and GoToWebinar for recurring events.
On24 is well suited, if:
  • you're looking for an easy-to-use webinar tool.
  • you're doing product demonstrations of software.
  • you don't want the people attending a session to see who else is attending.
  • you want your audience to be able to ask anonymous questions.

On24 is less appropriate, if:
  • realtime without latency is very important to you when doing a webinar/session/product demonstration.
  • you're planning recurring events where you don't want to set up each one separately.
