Overall Satisfaction with ON24

ON24 is being used by our marketing department by 3 managers. We run webinars on behalf of our advertising clients as a lead generation service. The webinars are showcasing a clients products but in an educational way. It's great for using the ON24 landing page to track analytics and capture the lead reporting.

Pros

  • Its super user friendly. I have to train speakers and moderator that aren't tech savvy and it's generally a smooth training process.
  • Capabilities are great. Use of webcam, screen share, resources downloads and pre recordings make it super flexible for the type of presentation you need to give.
  • Mp4 files! You can get different variations for download to share on wards. Ex. Capturing the event console, video and slides, solely slides. It gives our clients a variety to work with post webinar.

Cons

  • There is no pointer (can't see presenters cursor) that shows up when someone is presenting.
  • Use of animations/transitions, there are sometimes glitches and issues with how presentations convert from PPT.
  • We often get clients that are already familiar with On24 so its super helpful when they hear we also use the platform. One less thing to get acquainted with!
  • It's user friendly, so clients/speakers are often happy at the set up process and overall outcome of live appearance and recording file.
  • Our clients love the engagement tools, Q&A, polls and survey capabilities. Makes it super easy to get feedback.
  • Track registration and attendance
  • Enable sales follow-up
  • Optimize campaign nurture programs
  • Identify and track top-engaged accounts
We are always heavy with webinars prior to the pandemic. We definitely saw an increase in demand as conferences got canceled and our clients had "conference budget" they needed to spend as well as still getting their messages out our audience.
It's been so user friendly with training (moderators, speakers, clients, ever growing marketing team), helps us meet our goals (lead generation via virtual events). We also recently shared our success with our brands within our parent company that was super successful in helping them make the decision to add an ON24 license.
The producer and end user experience is so much smoother than WebEx. The appearance of the live event, different options for pre-recording (simulive and simulive with roll over to live audio) are huge things didn't have with ON24. The looks and customization of the landing page is light years better with On24 over Webex.
AvePoint SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Migration, Zoom, Slack
We do a lot of different presentation styles here at GW. A lot of which are roundtable style and/or a very slide heavy presentation with the speakers still on camera. Maneuvering the boxes within the console builder is very helpful in changing the appearance of the presentation for the attendees and is one my favorite features.
