ON24 is used by the marketing department for digital events such as webinars and virtual conferences. It allows the marketing department to seamlessly deliver our message by video and audio to a large international audience whilst connecting integrating with our marketing automation platform. It provides a solid report after each event, which was lacking with our previous digital event software solution.

COVID-19 Impact

ON24 made it easier to switch quickly from live events to online events. The accessible tutorials and information in the knowledge base helped to quickly learn how to use the system and understand its limitations. Changing from using a basic platform to ON24 was very helpful for me and my company’s entire marketing team.

Scalability

I rate ON24 as neither good nor bad for overall scalability. It was easy to scale up online experience initiatives however I haven’t expanded the use of the platform across other departments, nor have I had to add or remove licenses. Thus, my score is average in terms of scalability.

Alternatives Considered

GoToWebinar

ON24 is more sophisticated in terms of functionalities, provide better options for aesthetics, gives more comprehensive reporting, readily provides live technical support, has on-demand training materials in various formats, and can cater to bigger live online events like a virtual conference much more seamlessly. I found ON24 a better product in many aspects compared to our previous platform.

ON24 is a good tool for webinars, particularly since there are different types or formats on offer. It is also good for marketers like me who prefer a solid report on all aspects of a webinar such as how many attendees were engaged, who accessed engagement tools, what questions they asked, how many watched the on-demand recording, and so on. I also like the easy functionality of copying a previous webinar and using a console template.
