Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

We use OneCause to manage our silent auction for a yearly event. We needed a comprehensive package that can manage everything from supporter registration/communication to secure payment/bid management to auction package/raffle administration. We also needed a robust customer support system to ensure the event always goes off smoothly. OneCause does all of this and more.

  • Wish we had the ability to add more polish to our auction page and scoreboard ourselves (not have to pay OneCause to do it for us)

  • OneCause's excellent Customer Support team ensured each event went off smoothly
Use of the software is generally fine, but the setup and implementation are not always intuitive. Though the knowledgebase is robust and covers a lot of areas (and the support team is pleasant and knowledgeable), the event setup process (particularly when setting up payment and bank information) can be a bit cumbersome and should really be streamlined.
In my opinion, this is the best thing about OneCause. We use a variety of third-party software in our organization and some support teams are rude, unhelpful, and honestly unavailable. OneCause's support team is a dream. If you have an issue that is affecting your event, the are a call away and will help you immediately. Question on your account? Your account rep will get with you (sometimes same day) without having to pull teeth.

The OneCause auction platform works well for events of seemingly varying sizes (we are a mid-sized organization, but it seems to scale well). You can run a variety of things within the platform (live auction, silent auction, fund appeal, raffle, etc.), but one should be aware that there are limits to the software and we were forced to worked around these limitations.
