Overall Satisfaction with OneNote
I'd be lost without Microsoft OneNote! OneNote is basically a notebook which lets you have pages of notes or text in one place. I use OneNote for ideas, meeting notes, project notes and as a small task tracker. I export meeting invitations to OneNote and take my notes for the meeting. It's great because it shows meeting participants. I don't carry a paper notebook around anymore.
- Exports meetings from Outlook
- Drawing capability
- Stores notes with several subpages
- PDF viewing capability
- Phone app for Android (have not seen it out there)
- OneNote to Outlook Calendar capability
- Efficient notes
- Faster to forward to others
- Better organization with thoughts
I find OneNote to be a much simpler product compared to Evernote. I lean towards Microsoft products because they speak to each other. OneNote gives you the option to export from other applications.
OneNote does more than NotePad by giving you the ability to create sections, notebooks and tabs. It's overall very easy to use.
