Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

We use the CMS product to publish our core website and an event portal. Our core website caters to all our B2B and B2C audiences to deliver relevant and essential content and signpost our services, and generates over 1 million page views per annum

  • Back-end updates are difficult to complete
  • Search and findability of content assets is very slow
  • Restrictions on amount of connectors is frustrating
  • Ease of teams across the organisation to publish content
  • Ability to integrate content and forms with Salesforce CRM to improve our lead nurturing workflow
  • Use of audiences and Content Recs to deliver dynamic personalized content
We had a difficult time implementing Optimizely initially in 2018. We feel we were let down by our original supplier partners. Our current partners came onboard in 2019 and helped us come through that
From our editors perspective they find the CMS system easy and to clear to use. Our developers find it very easy to design on and appreciate the level of service support available. It's also always evolving and getting better every year. We find this investment reassuring and encourages us to try keep pace and see how we can continue to push the envelope and continue to improve all aspect of our websites and online touch points.

Optimizely is by far the best enterprise level CMS system on the market today. It delivers on so many important pillars of any large organizations key IT and web policies, for security, performance, compliance, and level of support. Optimizely would not be appropriate for most small to medium enterprises, with limited need to scale and develop beyond more than 2 platforms or website properties
