Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Linux
Oracle Linux is a powerful and robust open-source operating system. It is widely used across the whole organization for replacing the old windows database servers. It is compatible with all the oracle applications and it also offers zero-downtime upgrades. The downloading of the Oracle Linux is very easy and since it is open-source hence it is free to use and update. It comes with additional support from the Oracle community that is very helpful.

Cons
- Licensing cost is high.

- Less number of by default tools for support.
- Lots of commands have been changed while updating from version 6 to version 7.
- Open source Operating System.
- Drives Innovation.
- It enhances the power of decision making.
- Strong service expertise.
- Vast Community.
I found the features of both the products (CentOS and Oracle Linux) are quite similar but the performance of Oracle Linux is better as compared to centOS since it is a highly optimized operating system. It is the best alternative to centOS since memory management turned out to be excellent along with the security features. It is open-source and is a more stable operating system. It is also best suitable to work with the other Oracle Products.
