Overall Satisfaction with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM

Peoplesoft 9.0 is being used for payroll and tracking across projects. No issues or bugs or problems. For our small company, Peoplesoft may be a little too much power, but because of its ability to integrate with other software, we are satisfied.

Cons

  • Migration to the cloud could be easier
  • Ability to move to AWS and other non Oracle products/clouds
  • Training and finding skilled operators
  • Easy to pay employees on time
  • Execs like the reporting
  • The formatted templates and screens are good for us
We liked the PeopleSoft story; we liked their sales team, and we trusted the technical folks.
The product for on premise, is great and stable. But the migration path to the cloud is not straightforward for us.
